Investigators converge on New York’s LaGuardia Airport after pilots killed in plane collision with fire truck

• LaGuardia collision: New York’s LaGuardia Airport was closed for hours after an Air Canada plane collided with a fire truck while landing Sunday night. The pilot and copilot were killed and both fire officers were injured, officials said. • Dozens hurt: The jet hit the Port Authority fire truck on a runway at 104 miles per hour, preliminary analysis indicates. Air traffic control had cleared both to be on the runway.
