 GUNNER STAY IN FRONT

West Ham 0 Arsenal 1: VAR rules OUT Callum Wilson’s last-minute goal in major controversy as Gunners storm towards tit

LEANDRO TROSSARD scored a monumental late winner before VAR made a MASSIVE call to rule out a 95th-minute Callum Wilson equaliser as Arsenal took a giant step towards the Premier League title.

Trossard was twice denied – firstly by Mads Hermansen and then the woodwork – early on.

But Arsenal’s momentum was dashed by Ben White’s injury.

The Gunners saw desperate appeals for a penalty for handball waved away.

At the other end, David Raya somehow denied Mateus Fernandes who looked destined to score

But then Trossard ended his 25-game goal drought to tuck into the bottom corner and get the all-important goal.

However, deep into injury time, with Hermansen up, Wilson scored as the ball just crossed the line.

A lengthy VAR check determined whether or not there was a foul on Raya in the build-up…

And it was ruled that there was – and the goal was dramatically ruled out.
