Kim Kardashian's Met Gala Looks Through the Years  

 

Kim Kardashian has been attending the Met Gala for more than a decade.

For years, the reality star struggled to be taken seriously in the fashion sphere, but all of that changed once she made her Met Gala debut in 2013 as Kanye West's plus-one. Since then, Kardashian has consistently turned heads with her flashy looks, from provocative pieces to corsets that defy the laws of physics.

Despite her and her family being regular guests at fashion's biggest night, the SKIMS founder admits to still feeling butterflies at the event.  "We all get nervous no matter how many times we've been,” Kardashian told Vogue in May 2024. “It's like, 'Mom where are you? Sisters, let's meet at the top.' ”

For her Met Gala debut in 2013, Kardashian — who was pregnant with her first child, North West, at the time — walked the red carpet in a custom Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci dress created out of floral printed jersey with grommet details that attached the sleeves, turtleneck and perfectly matched gloves and shoes.
